Wonderful first flash!

I liked how you moved around to different angles and scenes, instead of sticking to one background. Very nice work!

Wassaboum responds:

<3 ty dude :)

Everyone did great!

Not a single bad part on here. Wonderful jobs everyone!

Also I feel like I've seen the scene with Coffee leaving before, am I right about that?

LeafLock responds:

hehe...you may have.

Glorious

Wonderful job Samegame, loved the car scene

LAVAGASM responds:

The thing tells me not to use HTML. I say fuck that thing. And I'm not even going to close any of my tags because I'm badass. <blink>182

Great job

"What" is always such a classic line

But you must tell me how you did that sound with the portal thingy because that was just awesome

uglyslug responds:

Haha thank zteaghl :)

It took me forever to get a decent portal sound. I forgot where I got it.

Great Job

Loved it, just as good as your others, if not better. Keep em' coming

Toadstool-Lock responds:

This is probably the movie I've put the single highest amount of love into.

Great Job

As always, you manage to impress greatly with smooth animation and a nice cartoony style.

Though I did notice that when you had the fish jump out the window, it looked like you had to just stop drawing once you got to the edge of the window, and there are 2 ways off the top of my head that can fix that and make it better.

Firstly, you could use 3 layers, the top being your fish guy, the middle being the wall he's jumping behind, and 3rd being the layer he moves to for the last of the frames, then just animate him up until he would be crossing over behind the hole, or just animate seperate parts of him on the right layer. Then you just have all the foreground and background stuff and it should work fine.

Or you could do the easier way which I think doesn't give you as much of a sense of accomplishement (And may not be possible if you use movieclips on wiggling backgrouns that aren't just blinking a little) All you'd need for this way is to unlock only the layers which have the character parts, and then turn on "Edit Multiple Frames" and erase the part along the line of the window rim.

But yeah, good job :3

TheBoogley responds:

You could also use a mask based on the window frame... thanks Chaddy, I wasn't really thinking, just rushing through it to get it done in time for the screening, the girl still hadn't landed with an hour left to finish. {:0
NEVER AGAIN will I leave it until the last minute... 8O
until next time of course :3

Not bad

It was very good for a first flash. I liekd the metallic theme you gave it, though I still feel the need to give you some critiques:

Music was great for what it was, but I watched it twice and still didn't really understand it. It struck me as the type of thing you'd see in some crazy satanic acid trip or something, if it had more color, at least. I'm glad to see you're doing FBF, as I always am, but constant FBF can be very tiring if you're going to do anything longer, and especially with a plot, although Theboogly definitely pulled it off. Just try to make background color transmissions smoother, in this case it could've been done with a simple shape tween, but you're at a good start. Try out a plot or doodle out some characters of your own, make a few comics of them for awhile until you've got some original characters who you can reference to their pasts without making stuff up on the spot, it really fleshes characters out if we know they have more to them than we know.

10 and 5 for effort and a great start :D

indesisive responds:

Yaaay chad reviewed my viiid. Hahaa thanks dude. The video itself was kind of a test and, well i dont even know. Well thanks for the feedback, and also expanding my acronym vocabulary 0.o I doubt ill do any whole films in Frame By Frame but i do enjoy that kind of animation.

Oh man

I can't wait till we get to see some Wine and Master action.

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to make that part.

Isterbandet responds:

Who knows :) Wine is next, I have actually read his script so I already know what will happen next but I don't wanna spoil ;)

Woooh

Great job Wine, much better quality art than what I've seen of your other stuff.

(-1 poitn for being late though ;3)

Madanimation responds:

This wasn't meant to be a Lock Day 09 flahs. So where is my extra 1 point!?
Lol. Thanks for the review!

Haha, I hadn't seen a few of those yet :P

Great job to everyone, and now I understand what you meant by "Tone Down" :3

Mp3-Lock responds:

Lol yeah it made my eyes bleed and I figured anyone watching it would have to turn it off to stop themselves from going blind.
